2020 has been intense, frustrating, sad, and awful for many of us (eff off, COVID-19!!) ... which makes this coming season of joy and cheer even more necessary for most of us.
With all the gift guides out there, we thought we'd let you in on some tips to encourage you and your loved ones to take some time to commit to moving, just a little every day. It's even MORE important this year as the days get shorter and colder, and the Coronavirus makes getting to a gym more difficult.
The gift of health is really BIG this year :)
1) Don't Overthink It.
With so many fitness options, which one is right for you? At the end of the day, you need something sustainable, that you can feel challenged by, that keeps you on track. Throw out the pricey Peloton or Mirror, and snag a Mobility Course!
For only $59 for a course, or $39/mo, you'll get an entire workout program that will help you build strength in a fuller range of motion, with little to no equipment and just 20-40 min a day. You got this.
2) Re-commit to Your Health.
Movement is the BIGGEST thing you can do to protect yourself against the worldwide pandemic. Obesity, high cholesterol, and a stagnant lifestyle are HUGE contributors to a weakened immune system and make your body more susceptible to getting sick. Safe-guard your body for ALL viruses by moving in your space, a little every day.
3) Taking Care of Yourself is Sexy.
When you make your body, your movement, and your potential your top priority, you RADIATE confidence. There's nothing sexier than a confident partner. So let's move together, shall we?
4.) Quality Time.
Date night anyone?? Instead of going out to dinner (most restaurants are closed) or going out for drinks (bars are closed, too), why not make your date night include moving together! Grab a couple of blankets or yoga mats, and try one of our mobility videos. You'll feel good, connect to each other in a new way, and most importantly, you'll feel better after, together. It's a win-win for your relationship.
5.) Uplift Your Mood.
Depression is real, and this year we've seen all our friends and family members struggle with anxiety, sadness, and clinical depression like never before. It's amazing how a little movement can put your head back in a better space. Move your body, move your mind.
Here are 3 options for gifts this season (as featured in She's Single Magazine).
This COURSE will help to strengthen, mobilize, and stretch the parts of your body that feel the negative effects of sitting the most and will strategically have you moving in ways that counteract the position you take when working at a desk. Alleviate stiffness in the neck, shoulders, hips, and lower back.
Create mobility in your joints and spine and minimize injuries. This course is designed to keep your body balanced from weight training or daily repetitive movements (sitting, driving, etc). If you’re active and exercising regularly, you may be hitting a plateau due to a lack of mobility.
Stall Bar Course – $59 (Coming this WEEK!)
